Rankings are vanity. Revenue is sanity.

I have been in search since 1996. Technical SEO, local visibility, architecture, content and authority all matter. What matters more is knowing which one is keeping you from earning.

THE PATH I CHECK
01
Can Google crawl it?
02
Does the right page exist?
03
Can buyers find it?
04
Did the visit pay?

A ranking is a way to reach customers, not a substitute for reaching them.

TECHNICAL · LOCAL · AUTHORITY
DIAGNOSIS BEFORE PRESCRIPTION
REVENUE FIRST, ALWAYS.
01 / THE PROBLEM

You do not need every SEO fix. You need the right one first.

A thousand-page audit can make everything look urgent. Sometimes Google cannot render the page. Sometimes there is no page for the service. Sometimes you already rank and the phone never rings. These are different problems, and they need different answers.

02 / THE WORK

What I actually check.

No mystery packages. The diagnosis determines which of these steps matters most.

01 / Establish the baseline

Establish the baseline

Traffic, non-brand demand, conversions, calls and current visibility before a change.

02 / Find the constraint

Find the constraint

Indexation, architecture, local presence, content, authority and competing sites assessed by impact.

03 / Fix in order

Fix in order

The short priority list that actually matters, rather than a monthly menu of generic tasks.

04 / Re-diagnose quarterly

Re-diagnose quarterly

Measure against calls and revenue and reassess when the constraint moves.

FROM THE FIELD

Google crawled 340,000 URLs to find 11,040 products.

crawlable URLs in a documented ecommerce engagement, hiding much of the useful catalog.

03 / MY PHILOSOPHY

Diagnosis before prescription. Every time.

“

I do not sell ten articles because ten is a tidy number. I do not buy links because a dashboard turned a box red. First I need to know whether those actions would solve the actual problem. If the biggest obstacle is a broken phone journey, that becomes the first task even if you came asking for SEO.

What I care about is non-brand demand, qualified enquiries, booked work and revenue. Rankings and impressions are useful indicators, but they are not the final score. An audit you own, with the logic and the priorities visible, is more valuable than a retainer you cannot explain.

Rankings are vanity. Revenue is sanity.

04 / HISTORY & EXPERIENCE

I started before Google. I stayed through every reset.

SINCE 1996

I began in 1996 with AltaVista and Lycos. Since then I have worked inside agencies and served as SEO manager for the Chrysler dealer network and ACE Handyman Services. I have watched technical rules, ranking systems, mobile behavior and local discovery change repeatedly.

That history does not make any tactic permanent. It makes it easier to recognize when a tactic has stopped earning. The published landscaping and ecommerce notes show two common failures at opposite scales: too few meaningful pages, and far too many low-value URLs. Neither is fixed by a generic content package.

CASE STUDY / ECOMMERCE
↗
340Kcrawlable URLs

340,000 URLs. Only 11,040 products.

A technical architecture problem buried the useful product pages under faceted URLs.

PUBLIC TEARDOWN / LANDSCAPING
↗
92%brand-driven organic clicks

Ranking for the name. Invisible for the service.

A five-page website left its most valuable service-and-location queries without pages.

CASE STUDY / HVAC

The booked jobs the dashboard never counted

The real customer journey ran through phone calls; the reporting had been built around forms.

REVENUE BUILDING / PRICING

The pricing page buyers were looking for

Price questions are part of search intent, and useful answers can move a buyer closer to enquiry.

06 / STRAIGHT ANSWERS

SEO. Questions answered.

No gatekeeping, no jargon. If something is missing, email hello@theseosavant.com.

No. Search results are competitive, change over time and are not controlled by any consultant. I work from evidence and report movement in relevant visibility, leads and revenue.

Both can be part of the diagnosis. The homepage emphasizes home-service companies, Google Business Profiles, map-pack visibility, technical foundations and service-area pages.

Yes. Categories, service coverage, reviews and local presence are part of the wider revenue diagnosis when relevant.

The current site describes months one to three as often showing leading indicators, with qualified lead and revenue movement commonly emerging in months four to eight. Your actual outlook depends on the diagnosis.

Only if those are the actual constraints. Scope follows the findings; there is no fixed package of articles or backlinks.

The baseline includes search visibility and traffic, but the reporting is tied to qualified enquiries, calls, booked work and attributable revenue where possible.

I say so. You keep the diagnosis and can act on the real constraint rather than pay for work that would not help.

START WITH THE FACTS

Find the leak.
Keep the revenue.

You do not need to know which service to buy. That is the point of the diagnosis. Start free, then decide what to do with the answer.

No call · No card · No pre-selected package

THE RULE HAS NOT CHANGED

First I look at the site. Then I tell you what matters. Then you decide who fixes it.
